Candy Classes

Fancy (Easy!) Dessert Class
Join us and learn to “mix and match” recipes as well as change flavor profiles to create several make-ahead desserts that are sure to impress! We will demonstrate plated dessert “building blocks” including dacquoise cake, mousse, semi freddo, and crème anglaise that can be served together… or not: it’s all up to you! Bring your creativity and sweet tooth- after this class your friends will be begging to come over for dinner (and dessert)!

Buttercream Basics
Italian meringue buttercream is nothing short of a revelation. We made it for the first time in pastry school and since then we have wanted to frost everything with it! In this class we will break down the method for this classic European dessert staple and demonstrate basic piping techniques, as well as ways to “rescue” a buttercream gone awry. You will leave the class with cupcakes you’ve decorated yourself!

Caramel Class
Is caramel your favorite sweet treat? We will show you how to make different varieties—creamy French versus chewy American—and how to incorporate different flavor infusions. After demonstrations of our popular Sea Salty caramel and our Salty Chocolate caramel you will then make your own batch, wrap it up, and take it home to enjoy (or give as a perfect home-made gift)!

Truffle-Making Class
Calling all chocoholics: Learn how to make chocolate truffles in our artisan candy kitchen while enjoying chocolate fondue and accompanying treats! We will demonstrate the basics of chocolate ganache then help you roll, dip and decorate your own truffles to take home in a fancy box. Perfect for a girls’ night out or date night, feel free to BYOB!
